Ever since the release of his debut 2010 EP, “This is Our Land”, Tim Qualls has been one of the Houston music scene’s fastest rising talents.

A mix of Indie Pop and Soul, Tim attributes his mixed musical genre to his attendance as a Sam Houston State music student and frequenter of open mics around Huntsville and Houston. 

In 2008, Tim was the winner of Sam Houston State’s “Battle of the Bands”. Most recently, Tim was the winner of 2010 Houston Press Music Awards “Best New Act”. In that same year he was also nominated for “Best Songwriter”, and “Best Male Vocalist”. 

In the winter of 2010, Tim once again entered the studio with long time friend Jay Snider to create a new EP which has been come to be known as “The Melancholy Sessions”. 

In 2016 he released is 3rd Album “ Say You Love Me” influenced by Marvin Gaye and early 70s R&B and Soul.

“Beautiful Kind of World” released on February 1st of 2019 and was produced by Houston producer Ty Robins. in 2020, Tim released the “BKOW” Music Visual as well as an “Acoustic” version of the BKOW album.

2021 will see the release of new music, starting with “Heartbeat” in May.
